We have expanded our office in Elton and now work right across the Wirral, Neston and Hoylake.

We are now the North West's favourite roofing company.

We are experts in flat roof repair and renewal.  That's EPDM rubber, felt and glassfibre GRP.

And we have a well-deserved reputation for quality slate and tile roof repairs and replacements.

Don't leave it until the gales of winter are upon us to have that repair done.  Call us now before that small problem gets worse.

Repairs to church

This month we were called in to make a number of repairs to the roof of the fine old church, St.Annes, in Rhyl.

The repairs included the inspection of the whole roof, repair loose and damaged slates where necessary, new leadwork, flashings, etc. and replacement of damaged guttering.

"And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall." - Matthew 7:24-27

Happy New Year from M E Contractors - Aberegele

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our past and future clients a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

But should anything go wrong, we are on-call 24/7 to put things right (as far as roofing matters are concerned anyway).

We are now past the shortest day but spring is still a long way off and, unfortunately, we have the winter storms to look forward to.

If that nagging rattle on the roof - a loose slate or tile maybe - is bothering you, call us to take a quick look.  Fixing those small problems quickly can prevent bigger ones later.

Working in Trem-y-Mor

Simple preventative measures which cost very little can save you a lot of money later.

Here, roof and gutter cleaning in Trem-y-Mor, Abergele.

Keeping the rainwater goods clear prevents overflowing, mould and moss growth, and damage to joints.  In winter as temperatures drop, blocked pipes can suffer cracking and bursting during freeze and thaw cycles.

See our main site - MECONTRACTORSABERGELE.COM for more information on our ranges of services.

Keeping fish dry

When the roof began to leak at The Jolly Fryer and there was more rain than sunshine inside the Sunshine House, Abergele - who ya gonna call?

On receiving the call for help the MEC team was up on the roof putting things right before you could say "Egg foo yung".

Timely repairs ensured that The Jolly Fryer is "frying tonite" and every night.

Sheds and chalets

We now do even more.
Short of storage space in the house?  Garage already filled to busting.
Good news: now we build and supply garden sheds.

And not just any old shed.
We construct garden rooms, sun rooms, chalets, offices.  And the great thing is you don't need planning permission or building regulations approval.

A little something tucked away in that part of the garden you never use could be the most cost effective way of adding that much needed extra room to your house.
